The Schuylkill River Heritage Area, in partnership with Sly Fox Brewery, will celebrate the Earth Day release of the new SRT Ale with a series of cleanups along the Schuylkill River Trail. The cleanups will coincide with the SRT Spree, a launch event that will take a Sly Fox team from Pottsville to Philadelphia along the entire Schuylkill River Trail and Water Trail by kayak, bike, horseback and on foot.
Since a portion of the proceeds from the new beer will support the Schuylkill River Heritage Area to promote, improve and maintain the Schuylkill River Trail, we want to celebrate by holding a series of cleanups at various trailheads as the team makes its way down the trail. Please sign up for one of the following dates to help us get the trail ready for trail season and Earth Day

Saturday April 18 (8-10 a.m.) Kernsville Dam Trailhead and Recreation Area, Hamburg
Sunday April 19 (2-4 p.m.) Union Township Trailhead & Water Trail Landing, Birdsboro
Monday April 20 (4-6 p.m.) Schuylkill Canal Association, Lock 60, Mont Clare
Tuesday April 21 (2-4 p.m.) Manayunk Trailhead, Manayunk (We're sorry, this date has been cancelled)
Wednesday April 22 (12-2p.m.) Schuylkill Banks, Philadelphia

All Trail Cleanup volunteers aged 21 and older will be given one free voucher to taste the new beer. Tappings of SRT Ale will be held each evening at licensed establishments located near the cleanup sites.
